Austrian crane manufacturer Palfinger has launched two knuckle boom loader cranes, the PK 10002 SH and the PK 12502 SH.

Both have Palfinger's Power Link Plus boom system. With five hydraulic extensions hydraulic outreach is 14.1 metres (46 feet). The PK 10002 SH is rated at 9.4 tonnes (10.3 tons) and the PK 12502 SH lifts 11.4 tonnes (12.5 tons).

Also fitted is Palfinger's Soft Stop function, an electronic limit position damper, which helps operators avoid jerky movements and collisions from swinging loads. They also offer a maintenance-free extension system, which uses sliding elements made from synthetic material, and there is the KTL cathodic dip paint for corrosion resistance and good finish.

According to the manufacturer, the new PK 10002 SH and PK 12502 SH represent Palfinger's most innovative technology, with high performance stability control and a radio remote control with LCD display.
