Vieten joins H&E

H&E Equipment Services as hired Ralf Vieten to serve as vice president of crane structural repairs and remanufacturing.

Prior to moving to the United States in 1987, Vieten received his mechanical engineering degree in Germany, and has more than 25 years of experience in the fabrication, remanufacturing and repair business.

Vieten started his career in 1987 as plant production manager for Truetzschler, Inc., a German textile machine fabrication company. He served as director of technology for Sorbilite Inc., and in 2002 was appointed vice president of service for Schiller Service Corporation, which was purchased by Liebherr Cranes in 2004. He was executive vice president of service and repair for Liebherr and served as vice president of WHECO Corp.

H&E said Vieten will focus his efforts to further expand and promote the company's status as a Manitowoc EnCORE Partner and Manitowoc Crane Care Elite dealer. He will be responsible for growing the structural repair and remanufacturing operations of H&E, the company said.
