WHECO Corp. in the USA has signed a joint product support agreement to become a Manitowoc authorized repair facility for structural repair and remanufacturing services for all Manitowoc crane products. The agreement is designed to complement Manitowoc's existing Encore program by offering WHECO's specialized repair and remanufacturing services.

"We can now offer factory supported structural and non-structural repair and remanufacturing services to Manitowoc's distributors and customers," said Ron Williams, CEO of WHECO. "WHECO was selected to provide these services because we have the knowledge, experience, facilities and trained technicians to perform these types of value-added repairs."

Williams said having the ability to do this type of work will provide greater value to Manitowoc crane owners.

"We look forward to working closely with Manitowoc and their distributors and customers," Williams said. "Manitowoc is taking a very forward-thinking position that recognizes the necessity for our specialized services and the quality and value that it can bring to their customers."

WHECO operates facilities in Richland and Seattle, WA; Santa Fe Springs, CA; Aiken, SC; Houston, TX; and Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.
