Your guide to the 2022 SC&RA Annual Conference

In the heart of the nation’s capital and only a few short miles away from the White House, the crane, rigging and specialized transportation industry will convene, connect and celebrate.

On April 25-29, attendees of the 2022 Annual Conference will be treated to business, history and Washington D.C. culture in SC&RA’s very own backyard.

This year’s Annual Conference is setting the stage for an experience unlike anything attendees have ever seen before. The conference will feature the usual, highly anticipated committee meetings, Job of the Year competition and awards and Exhibit Center. As far as entertainment goes, attendees can also still look forward to a variety of evening events including the President’s Reception, a stars and stripes themed SC&R Foundation celebration fundraiser, the infamous acoustic guitar reception and the black-tie Closing Night reception.

While the Annual Conference traditionally features golf and tennis tournaments and a 5k run/walk, due to the Omni Shoreham Hotel’s downtown location SC&RA decided to indulge attendees in some old-fashioned city slicking. Choosing between a monument, cuisine or museum tour, members will have the opportunity to spend the day exploring Washington D.C.’s most iconic areas.
